Working on my 3d Touch.

I just replaced my hot end as per the instructions sent to my by BFB.  After reassembling everything I have no power!

No LED on the pcb, no nothing.  What did I do?

Check the power connector going into the control board.   After a month of operating mine began to get loose and I would lose power unless I put pressure on it in one direction.   It seems the inline DC connector is a different size from the plug in the control board which causes them to jiggle when connected.    Atleast in mine it did :P

Thanks for the tip!

After a bit of trouble shooting I uncovered a wire connector labled "You, Josh, are a big idiot."

Somehow in my previous troubleshooting I missed the fact that I'd plugged the loom connector into the cooling fan connector.  Amazing how the simple mistakes are the ones I always miss.

Thanks for your advice, though.

Josh

Phew, one less thing to worry about.   Back to printing!
