Current software choice? Axon vs.

Hello,

I am new to 3d printing. I've been printing with my rapman 3.1 since Monday, about 35h of me trying to figure out how everything works. The thing I am not sure about is my choice of .stl -> .gcode -> .bfb . I've tried Axon 2 beta, very user friendly but I can't change the parameters I need (without editing the gcode directly). Axon 1 worked OK, I don't think all my parameters were right. And I've tried skeinforge by itself.

Anyways, the questions are:

  • Which one would you recommand using? 
  • How do I update Axon 1? I've noticed that when I launch Axon 1 it is using an older version of skeinforge, maybe the reason of crappy prints.

I'm really liking this printer ^^

 I used Axon 2 beta without problems, but I highly recommend KISSlicer Pro, it's already better than Axon and fast as hell.
